Mariam envisions a world where creativity and play are essential forces for personal and professional growth. As an artist, storyteller, and educator, she is dedicated to sparking curiosity, building meaningful relationships, and encouraging authentic self-expression. She believes that art and storytelling have the power to bring people closer and deepen our understanding of one another.

About

Her journey began in Pakistan, where she noticed a lack of spaces for open, creative expression and a limited focus on creative education. This inspired her to create Spoken Stage as her art school thesis. The platform promotes freedom of expression through performance, art, and storytelling. What started locally has evolved into a global mission to put play at the heart of storytelling and amplify diverse and marginalised voices worldwide.

Building on this foundation, Mariam pursued her MFA in Theater Education from Emerson College, deepening her understanding of creative learning and arts-based facilitation. She now brings this vision to creative and professional spaces, encouraging critical thinking through artistic explorations and collaborative storytelling.

Mariam believes that embracing creativity is essential for both personal fulfillment and professional success. Her personal work and workshops invite people to reconnect with their playful, imaginative selves, reminding them that play is vital for.
